I will always happily go out of my way to try dedicated gluten-free restaurants, and Ripe didn't disappoint. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles, margherita pizza, and garlic fries. The staff were friendly, and the interior is bright, clean, and updated. The only reason I'd knock a star off is for the location; we would have returned during our stay if it hadn't been out of the way. If this was closer to downtown Delray, it'd be easier to visit when staying on vacation and not needing to take an uber to get there.
LOVED it! The last time we went at least a year ago not good but last night we 3 all had beautiful plates. Wait staff very nice, bathrooms clean. Lots of drinking options delicious soda and I'm NOT a soda person but soooo good. We found prices reasonable but not cheap. Presentation of plates beautiful. one thing that wasn't right is the pastrami was cut wrong. It was cut with the grain not against the grain , the way you do it so meat slightly chewy. I'm medically GF and I felt sooo safe eating here. We can't wait to go back! Three people ate for under $70 with tip , side fries and drinks. Also food came right out I like that and a table of friends was clearly done but having a great time talking and they were not rushed to go. Another positive!!
Ripe is truly a gem! I was thrilled to discover a new option for reasonably priced, healthy dining in Delray. Ripe presents a 100% gluten-free menu! We started with the Asian Cauliflower Fingers and Sweet Potatoes Fries, both were flavorful and paired well with the Garlic Aioli and Sriracha Honey dipping sauces. For entrees, we tried the Tuna Poke Bowl and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Both were equally delicious and the portion sizes were much bigger than expected. We left happily full and had enough food to bring home leftovers, all for under $50 - truly a steal in SFL. I was so impressed with the quality ingredients in all of our meals! I would highly recommend!!!
Stopped for a healthy lunch on a hot August day. The seating area was packed, which is a good sign, though we were able to find a table inside. The outdoor seating has umbrellas but didn't see any fans. At the register, the cashier explained in good detail the options, with recommendations, and just the right amount of information. "Low Mein" had a bit too much noodle and needed more protein but overall it was balanced The Greek salad was plentiful and as shown in the photo has a nice cut of chicken (added) The food was tasty. I debated 4 stars since I'm not striving to go back right away, but landed on 5 because of the various options to customize based on dietary restrictions or preferences, which had a truly rare level of possible differentiation
